Hallelujah!
Nothing's broken! =D =D =D Everyone says I'm really lucky. =D My Mom put peroxide on everything, and it hurt SO bad! I cannot emphasize how much it HURT! OW! And the biggest gash on my heel won't stop bleeding! It's very frustrating! >=( And I can't put weight on my heel either, so I'm walking on tiptoe. I'm gonna have to put peroxide on it again here in a little bit. *screams* Seriously, I've stepped on nails, fallen down stairs, been in car wrecks, bucked off by horses, knocked unconscious, gone to the emergency room several times, and had braces, and none of that was as bad as that stupid peroxide! A-G-O-N-Y!!!! Okay, I'll stop rambling on about that. =) Please pray, I'm sure I'll make a hilarious sight tomorrow at church, walking around on tiptoe with my leg all torn up. *rolls eyes* =D
Um, Ouch?
Hey guys. This is just a short little post. We were riding in th gocart, and I jumped out and waited for Christy to come back for me. While she was still driving, I tried to jump in. My foot got munched in the back wheel. It's bleeding all over the place, and I'm not sure if anything's broken yet or not. So please pray. I don't want to sound like a big baby, but it does hurt. ='(

Update!
Hmmm, I had a discouraging amount of comments on the last post. And it was really funny and took a long time! Why is that? Like right now, I'm going to predict that I get more comments on this dinky little post than I did on that huge post! (don't let that discourage you from commenting. =D) This is just an update.
Tomorrow is the last day of swim class for Sarah and Emily! *cheers* It's been fun, for me at least, but I'm going to be SO glad when it's over! We're gone all morning, then we have to come home and do school until like, 5:00 p.m.! =O It's terrible! But after tomorrow, it's over! =D The good news is that Sarah can now swim by herself! =D Three cheers for Sarah! Hip hip, hooray! Hip hip, okay, that's enough of that. We're all very proud, yada yada yada. The bad news is, Emily is not a good swimmer at all. She's the smallest in the class, and Christy helps her. And Christy isn't the best with little kids. =/ She loves tiny babies, but small children frustrate her. Basically, she's been telling Emmy that she's a brat. =( So Emmy's really discouraged. So I'm taking Emmy tomorrow to cheer her up. =) I'm sure that Christy will get better when she's more mature. =)
Emmy's birthday was a few days ago, on Tuesday! You don't know how long she's been waiting for it! Sarah's birthday was two months ago, and she's been teasing Emily ever since. So this birthday was VERY satisfying! =D
Tomorrow, we're babysitting at our church. Some people in our church run a ministry, and the people who attend need some people to watch their kids. Mom and I "volunteered". Jk, we really did offer! Christy is going to be put with the babies, and I'm going with older kids, like 7-8 year olds. That's the age group that I teach in Awanas. =D After that, we're going to pick up my awesome bf Rebekah! (Becky) We went out to the lake last week with her, and I'll be posting those pictures in a couple of weeks, I'll explain why later. But Becky and I played Monster Hunter last time she was here, and there's this one creature we can't defeat! We tried so hard, but he's sooooooo tough! My nephew, Galon, was there, and he named the huge, rocky, rhinocerous-like creature "Earl". It was so funny! You're not laughing? *mutters* Well, you kinda had to be there.....
Anywhoo, this time, we're going to defeat Earl! Blaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!! That's my battle cry, like it? =D (Hey, it's the best I can do) Blaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!! =D
In precisely a week from tomorrow, we will be on our way to Alaska. *silence* You're waiting for some kind of exclamation of joy, aren't you? Well, you're not going to get it. I do not WANT to go to Alaska, I'm being forced! =O We're going up to go fishing. Yippee. =( I HATE fishing. >=( But I'm sure it will be fun (kinda) and I often have to eat my words. =D So you won't get bored and forget me, I'm going to schedule a few posts while I'm gone. Aren't I clever? =D I'll be posting the lake pictures, and pictures of my dream house. A couple of months ago, I did a tag, and one of the questions was to describe my dream house. I said I didn't have to describe it, I knew where it was! =D I'm sure you will all agree with me on it's awesomeness, and I have an amusing little story to go along with it. But, you'll have to wait! What? You can't? Well, my dear, you have no choice! Just try to contain yourself! Remember, patience is a virtue.
I guess this isn't such a dinky little post after all, huh? Oh well! =D

Super Long Random Post.......Fun! =D
Please read! Do you know how long it took me to make this?! And I promise you; you will be amused, at the very least! =D I'm quite behind in my pictures and events, so I'm lumping them all together. =D Which explains this huge post. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Minnesota, as you know. The last night there, we took some pictures.
I look like I'm crying because they were tickling me!!!!!
Then it got weird.
I'm feeling very embarrassed looking at these now.
Guh-ROSS! (gross)
Trying not to laugh....
Blooper!
I have a very defined, personal space, and since April and I don't always get along, it made it even more traumatic for me. =O
See the panic in my eyes?! That's because I was playing Monster Hunter on the Wii, and they were blocking my view. >=(
I look like I'm crying because they were tickling me!!!!!
Then it got weird.
I might have been slightly delirious because they were both sitting on me!
I'm feeling very embarrassed looking at these now.
Ah! That look on my face? That's my classic "Galon look". Seriously, he wears that expression a lot.
Guh-ROSS! (gross)
Trying not to laugh....
Blooper!
My personal favorite.
Whew, I'm glad that's over with! =O I feel very embarrassed, and I know that you all will never think of me the same after this. ='(
Then, this past weekend, we went to Fort Rock for the Women's Conference, as you know. I didn't get many pictures, and some were erased, as I will explain later. =O Anyway, there's a lady in our church, Mrs. Elsa, who is very sweet. =D She's been making jewelry lately, and she's very talented. Some of her creations are simply gorgeous! =D She decided to donate some of the pieces of jewelry for a fundraiser for Pam, the lady in our church who has breast cancer. =( People would write down their bids for the jewelry and others would go higher, and so on.
I found this simply BEAUTIFUL necklace! Seriously, it was the prettiest thing I've ever seen! So, Mom started bidding against this girl, Rebecca Bowden, who is very nice and sweet. We got up to a hundred dollars, then these two girls pulled us aside. Their names are Christina and Renee, and they are AWESOME! They are identical twins, and were both recently married. So, they pulled us aside and said that they were the ones who had actually been bidding on the necklace instead of Rebecca, they had just been using her name so their Mom wouldn't find out. They wanted the necklace for her birthday present. They said that if I really wanted it, then they would stop bidding and just have Mrs. Elsa make another necklace.
Well, I REALLY wanted that necklace. Really badly! I'm ashamed to say it, but I took multiple pictures, "visited" it often at the table, and even went back to the cabin and thought about it. It was bad! I was prepared to sell all I had brought to pay for it! =O Crazy, right? But of course, I knew what the right thing to do was. So I told them, amid much tears, that they could have it. Seriously, I was almost bawling. When they saw that, they wouldn't take it, but I was so ashamed of myself for acting in that manner that I insisted that they take it, and they finally did.
Back in the cabin that night, I took time to think about it. Deep down inside, and I do mean DEEP, a little part of me was glad that I had given it up. I looked back and realized how selfish I had been. I mean, I was totally consumed with the stupid piece of jewelry, a bit of glass, that I had almost hurt those girls and taken away their mother's birthday present. You know, even if I had taken that necklace, I wouldn't have enjoyed wearing it that much. =)
The funny thing about this, was that their mom figured out the scheme, so Mom pretended to buy it for me, but I was going to deliver it to Christina's and Renee's cabin later. The sad part was, everyone else at the Retreat had also loved the necklace, so as soon as I "won" it, they insisted that I put it on and model it, which made me cry again, since I knew that it wasn't really mine, but everyone assumed it was because I was so happy. I know, pathetic, right?
This is the necklace. This picture doesn't really do it justice, but still, I think it's beautiful.
On a brighter note, Sarah and Emily started swimming classes today! =D Sarah didn't like it, and didn't really try, but Emily liked it a lot! =D
The sad part is, I put my phone in my swim trunks pocket, and forgot to take it out. That's right, I went swimming with my phone. ='( It's totally ruined, but at least it was insured, and the Sim card was mostly saved. It got wet too, which is why some of the pictures were erased, if you will remember that I mentioned that earlier. It made me very sad, and now, I'm without texting!!!!! >=O It's TERRIBLE! *sigh*
By the way, have any of you seen Evan Almighty? If not, don't bother looking at the next picture.
Um, yeah.

Women's Conference.
Every year, the women of our church have a Ladies Conference. I went last year, and I'm going again this year. We're leaving this afternoon. It's going to be held at Fort Rock for three days. Interestingly, I helped to build Fort Rock a few years ago. =D The people who built and own it, the Forsythes, are the people that Christy and I stayed with for a month while Mom and Dad were adopting Sarah and Emily in Vietnam. So it's like my home away from home. I LOVE it there, and I take every opportunity to go out. =D
I'm very excited, because it's always crazy and fun at the Conference! =D Year before last, a woman in our church went from cabin to cabin with her loaded gun and a gang of several other women, and stole everyone's pillows. The next day, there was a trial, and the woman was sent to jail. It was so funny! Fort Rock is like a old western town. I'll be sure to send pictures. There's a "restaurant", a jail (complete with cells and costumes), an undertakers office with coffins in it; even an old hound dog named Hoss to lie around. It's awesome! And the best part is, that since I'm practically part of the family, I get a little bit of "special privileges", like running the store with my friend, Katie.
While I'm thinking of it, I would like for you all to please pray for Katie. Her dad was putting a shotgun up on a shelf, and the gun discharged. Katie's hand was raised for some reason, and the gun shot off one finger and partly severed the other. Her hand can't properly function now, and she really needs prayer. I'm hoping to see her at the Conference, and I hope that she comes. =)

Fun at the Lake.
Today, we went to the lake. It was awesome! =D We took my best friend, Becky, and my nephew, Galon. It was pretty sweet. =D The only bad thing was that we all got sunburned, even though we put a ton of sunscreen on. =( My face feels like it's on fire!!!!!!! =O =O Anyway, Becky took pictures, and she's gonna post them on facebook soon, I hope. =D

First day of school. *groan* I'm homeschooled, and we start early every summer because we go on a lot of vacations during the year. =) I just found out last night that we were starting today, so I didn't have any warning. =( The good news is, I have a new Algebra curriculum this year instead of Abeka. It should be a lot easier. =D =D =D =D (Okay, I won't do one of my famous rows of smileys =D) Anyway, I only have time for a quick post, since I'm supposed to be doing school. =O

I'm Embarrassed to say it......HELP!
You would think with all of the cool gadgets and gizmos on my blog, I would be able to make a stupid button for my blog! Well, think again! I tried for HOURS last night, and couldn't make it work. When I finally got the image to work, it was too big! You can see the huge button (or at least part of it) on my sidebar. Pathetic, right? Well, if any of you have any suggestions or if you can fix it, I would greatly appreciate your help! ='(
On a brighter note, I am wearing one of my new outfits to church today! =D A pink plaid top with a jean skirt that flares out at the bottom. I would upload a pic, but that might be considered vain, so I won't. =D Just imagine it......Ahhhhhhhhhh, beautiful! lol =D Hope you guys have a great Sunday! =D

Home Again!
Finally! We're home! Whew! =D We woke up at six this morning, and left at seven-thirty. =D A good record for us! It was very sad saying goodbye to everyone, but it was time to leave. =) So, I drove for about three hours all together (it's about a ten hour trip). =D We were about two hours from home when it started pouring rain! Not fun to drive in! Mom was driving, but when she tried to accelerate, the van would like putter and stuff, so we were driving on the freeway around 40 mph. In the rain! So, we took an exit and parked at a gas station. Right as she was parking, the power steering went out! We sat there for a moment while Mom called Dad. Mom and I got out in the pouring rain and looked at the tires and stuff, and found nothing wrong. So, we got back on the highway, and everything was fine! The van went right up to 70mph and was perfect all the way home. Weird, right? Anyway, it's so good to be home! I have so many clothes to wash! =O But that's okay, since it's all my beautiful clothes. =D Anyway, just wanted to tell ya that I'm back!

OMG!
OMG! I just noticed that my last post was my 200th post! =O =O I would celebrate, but I have no idea what to do to celebrate. I don't have enough followers for a giveaway, and the last caption contest was a disaster! So, I'll just wish myself a happy 200th post, and get on with what I was going to post about in the first place. Which was basically nothing. We just got back from watching TS3 again, and it was even better the second time! I laughed, I cried, it moved me. =D So now, Nic and I are watching Fox News, (yes, I like that stuff) Christy is watching Little House on the Prairie, Mom is playing with Makenzie, and April is upstairs heating up frozen pizza. =D It's a very.........comfortable evening. =D
Glamor, Cartwheels, and Honey, I Shrunk my Sister.
Interesting title, isn't it? Read on and you'll see what it's about. =D Anyway, when we first came to Minnesota several days ago, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. It's so beautiful!!!! But unfortunately, I didn't get very many pictures of the beauty, mostly just of us goofing off. That's why the title is "Be Prepared". There are a lot of pictures! =O But I think you'll find it amusing, at the least. So, for your conveniance, I have seperated the pictures into
three catagories: Glamor, Carthwheels, and Honey, I Shrunk my Sister. =D
three catagories: Glamor, Carthwheels, and Honey, I Shrunk my Sister. =D
Glamor.
This is of the barn. (duh) =D Why am I explaining the obvious?
Grandpa planted a walkway of trees many years ago. Pretty cool.
Yes, this picture is in the Glamor section. This, for Christy, is a glamor shot.
Of course.
Me reading my book.
And this is what Christy did with my book.
Haha, I didn't look too happy. =D
I had to try the b/w shot.
Yeah, when Christy tried to run around the tree.....yeah.
lol It looks like she has a beard!
There, much better. (Seriously, it did take her a little while to get the concept of running around the tree instead of into it)
She was very proud of this picture for some reason.
~::Cartwheels::~
lol The next several pics are of Christy in the different stages of a cartwheel.
lol
(My personal favorite)
Ta-da! Impressive, wasn't it? The next ones aren't nearly so graceful.
How embarrassing.
Ouch.
Hey, I don't know how to do a cartwheel, okay?
~::Honey, I Shrunk my Sister::~
That's right, this is the catagory you have all been waiting for! Just look at these.
HA!
Come along Christy.
I said come along!!!!!
Christy!!!!
LOL =D
