These are the pictures of our vacation to the tip of the country. Our main stopping points were at Niagra Falls and Boston. We went on this trip about two months ago, before I started blogging. The picture line starts at our first night in Niagra Falls City.
As you can see, sleeping quarters were a bit cramped the first night.
The first night, we ate at a casino in Niagra Falls City. To get to the restaurant in the back, we had to go through the game floor. It was so sad to see people wasting away their money and lives on something so pointless. Anyway, this is a picture of me video taping Dad taking a picture of me. Their soup was really good.
We stayed at the New Hampton, which was so close to the Falls, we could walk there. We stopped in this beautiful park for a breather.
There it is! Niagra Falls at last!

This is my sister, Christy. Beside her, you can see a rainbow created from the mist of the Falls. That city on the bank behind her is Canada.
The after-shot of the boat ride that took us close to the Falls. Mom looks so happy because she stayed in the cabin of the boat while we were out getting soaked!
Another Falls picture. Right after Dad took this picture, Sarah and I chased that sea gull.

We took a special tour that took us right under the Falls. As you can see by the picture, I was not too happy about being soaked. At least I kept my hood on, unlike some crazy people.
This is my Mom and Dad in Canada. They still had their passports from Vietnam, so they could go over. Christy and I didn't have passports, so we stayed with the babies at the hotel and watched I love Lucy.
On our last night in Niagra Falls, we went to see the lights they shone on the water. It was really neat. The next morning, we started for Plimouth.
On our way to Plimouth, we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts. Never give a three year old a chocolate covered donut.
This was at a seafood restaurant in Plimouth. We stopped at a lot of seafood places, because Dad had to try everyone's clam chowder!*blech*
I'm not sure why this picture is so bright, but this is us in front of the replica of the Mayflower. I couldn't believe that 109(or something close to that) people had sailed across an ocean on it.

This is the place where the Pilgrims built their settlement. It's so beautiful, it's hard to imagine it being a place where so many died. We fed the ducks in the stream the bread we had been saving for the sea gulls, but it was worth it. Sea gulls are so rude.
This is a plaque that tells about the green we're on, and how the Pilgrims lived there. I think. I can't really read it, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
This is at a beach we stopped at on our way out of Plimouth. It was pretty cold and windy, but we found some cool shells.
Boston at last! I think this is the Old North Chruch, or something.
On the second day in Boston, we bought tickets for a two-hour tram tour of the city. We could get on it any time we wanted in the next few days, and we often used it to get around.
Here's Dad walking Emily. She and Sarah both had backpack/leashes. We got a lot of strange looks when we went through China town.
We took more pictures of us with this donkey than of any other place in Boston. It was in the courtyard of a fancy restaurant, and it was so fun!
We went to the Frog Pond, which was only a foot or so deep. In winter, it's used for iceskating. They had a couple of frogs in front of it, which was really fun. It was in a park, which was very lucky for me, because Sarah and I love to chase squirrels! And there were tons of them!

Good ol' George. The statue looked a lot bigger in the brochures. And just in case you're worried, I didn't wear the same shirt every day. We took a lot of these pictures in one day. I only wore this shirt twice, once in Niagra Falls, and once in Boston.
We went on this awesome boat ride around Boston harbor. It was included in the tram price.
This picture turned out a little blurry, probably because we were still in motion, but it was fun, even if I was the only fifteen year old on the carasol.
It figures. On the last day in Boston, we found this little section in town with all these little restaurants. They made some of the best fried rice I have ever had! I'm still proudly displaying my Razorback heritage. The next day, we starting driving up to Maine.
This is in Maine, at a beautiful beach that we stopped at. The girls didn't want to get their shorts wet.
Oh, we saw this while we we're driving through Manhatten. We couldn't figure out how the cars on top could leave if there were still cars on the bottom. Go figure. By the way, we drove through downtown Manhatten in twenty-five minutes at 5:00 pm. Rush hour!
On the way back from Maine, we stopped in Philedelphia to look at the Liberty Bell. It's bigger then it looks in this picture. It was night, so there wasn't a lot of people around.(normal people, I mean)
Well, that sums up our vacation. It lasted about ten days. The things I liked most about it were: riding in the van(I love road trips), staying at the New Hampton hotel, driving through Manhatten, and listening to the funny Boston accents. Example: "So ya want lobstah and clam chowdah? Ya sure. You wanta beeah(beer) with that?" I have mastered the Northern dialect.
