Life of a Plant.

Hello everyone! I'm going to do something different today. I've had a special request; a certain someone wanted to post on my blog. His name is Alfie, or, at least I think that's what he said. He wants to give a message to the world. I told him that I didn't have that many followers, but he'll take what he can get. This is already highly irregular. Please listen to what he has to say, it brought tears to my eyes. Go ahead, Alfie.
Hello everyone. My name is Alfie, and I am here to tell you of a terrible tragedy. This is me.
I'm one of the survivors. The horrible thing is, this massacre is not a single incident. It happens over and over and over! Let me start from the beginning.

Our forefathers were brought to this land when they were just seeds. They were carefully spread out to grow and prosper. A fence was erected to protect them from animals. Those that weren't eaten by birds took root and grew. These brave pioneers struggled on, until they grew tall and green, spreading their children out to grow and expand. Suddenly, a great machine was wheeled into the enclosure. With the pull of a cord, a giant, walking creature pushed the machine around our colony. With horror, we realized that it was a killing machine! It plowed through our poplulation, killing almost everyone. The small ones were left alive, the chopping blades didn't reach them. This has happened year after year after year after year! And yet, you people do nothing about it!

This lawn was once tall and beautiful, with luscious, thick grass growing happily all around. Then suddenly, it came!

It ravaged the whole grass and clover population, killing most. The dead bodies were left on the ground. The survivors must grow in the decaying greenery of their brothers. Forgive me for being so graphic, but this is what is happening!

There are a few survivors, the ones who grew close to rocks and trees. But those wish that they were dead, having to look upon the others who were brutally murdered.

The clover patch was spared for some reason. Maybe the "One Who Pushes the Machine" has a heart after all.

These giant walking creatures are bloodthirsty heartless creatures who care nothing about us.

They walk and stomp on us all day long, yet we still continue to grow, even under the oppression.

Yet, in some places, we have just been tortured to the point of extinction by animals such as dogs.

Here is the "One Who Pushes the Machine" KILLER!

We must be avenged! Our blood stains the hands of you and your kind. Will you not stand up and fight? My time grows short, Taylor is trying to cut me off. Farewell, and do not forget us!

That will be quite enough! My dear readers, I had no idea that that clover was so, so, outspoken! I apologize.

(I am not a greenie or anything. I just happened to think of this as I mowed the lawn. Now you can see how weird I really am! And I did all of the visuals. And my hands were really stained from grass, and they still are! And I have a piano recital on Saturday, which means if I can't get this stain out, then I'll be playing with green hands! Pray!)
