Lake Fun!

As you all know, I'm not really here, I'm still in Alaska. =D And I miss all of you terribly! =( Anyway, we went to the lake a couple of weeks ago, and Becky took pictures. =D The pictures are somewhat out of order, so I'm sorry about that, but I'm creating this post at ten o'clock the night before we leave, so I'm in a huge hurry. Sorry!

*sniffle* We're leaving for Alaska in the morning at 7:00a.m.. *sniffle* I'm gonna miss you guys so much! *bawls* Just writing this makes me cry. ='(  But, I have scheduled a couple of posts during my absence, so you won't forget me. =(

I promised that I wouldn't post about my foot, but I have to tell you just a little. My "owies" were so bad that I had to go to the doctor today, and I got some bad news. The abrasion on my heel is quite infected, and I have to take four pills a day for ten days. If the pills don't work, then I'll have to go into surgery. =( Also, I still can't put any pressure on my heel, so I still have to walk on tiptoe, but the doctor said that if I misstep while walking on tiptoe, I might break a tendon and have to go into surgery. So, it's a little critical, and I would much appreciate your prayers. =)

I am just so excited about tomorrow! I LOVE flying, and not just because it's a quicker way to travel. I love being up in the air, looking down. Eldarwen can tell you, I love the sky and birds. And Christy, my sister, could tell you that the thing I want to do most is fly. Yes, I am a dreamer. But I just love it so much. I spend hours looking at the birds, take millions of pictures of the sky, and walk to the top of the hill to watch the sunset. =D So this is very exciting! =D I'm finally all packed. Whew! But I just know that I forgot something....as usual. =D So, I need to get to bed now. Goodbye for ten days! ='( *sniffle*sobs*bawls*

Good News! (And It's About Time!)

WAIT! Don't leave! I'm not posting about my foot! Promise! *crosses heart* No, I'm posting about good news. See the title? Hmph, and you were about to leave. Shame on you! *pouts* What? Oh! The good news! Right! Heh heh, almost forgot. Silly me. *slaps face* Now. I have two pieces of good news. Which would you like first? Hmmm? You have no preference? *sigh* I hate it when people do that. Seriously, I'm asking because I can't decide, and I want your input. And you answer something to the effect of, "I don't care", "I don't know", or "Whatever." What's that? Oh! You want the first piece of good news first? Wonderful! See, this considerate person is helping me out, picking a piece of........wait a minute. Hey! >=O Are you trying to pull one over on me?! What do you think I am, blonde?! Of course you want the first piece of good news first!!!!!!! Good gravy....

Fine then, I'll just randomely (sp?) pick the first one. *fishes around in hat* Aha! All right then. The first piece of good news is....*drum roll*........*giggles*. Why am I giggling? None of your business! Oh, well, actually, I was giggling because you're getting all worked up about my news, which is kinda pathetic with all this hype. Now, where was I? Oh yes. *drum roll* I GOT A 100% ON MY ALGEBRA PAPERS!!!!!!!!! =D...............=D............=D.........why am I getting these "are you serious, is that it?" looks from you guys? Don't you understand?! This is marvelous, stupendous, sensational, fantastic, fabulous, great, awesome, terrific, wonderful, grand, tremendous, incredibly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...........All right, you guys obviously won't get excited about this. >=P

Well then!  *ahem* Now for my other news! *regains composure*......*clears throat*............*adjusts glasses*................*smooths shirt*............. I GET TOMORROW OFF FROM SCHOOL!!!! AND WE'RE LEAVING FOR ALASKA THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D...........................Am I being annoying? Hmmm, perhaps, yes perhaps. *strokes chin wisely* Well, it's not my fault! I spent the whole evening here at home with Sarah and Emily! Two four-year-olds!!!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH?!?!?!?!?!? I'm over it now. *wipes forehead. I need chocolate........*walks away*

Another Update on my Stupid Foot!

I hate having everyone's attention on my foot. As Eldarwen knows, I hate my feet, and it's quite embarrassing, not being able to fit a sock over the bandage. But, yesterday, I did go to church. Christy tried to convince me to go on crutches, but I didn't want to draw attention to my foot, so I didn't. Now, I really wish I would have. My shoe rubbed on the scrapes all over my foot and made the worst one on my heel bleed through all the bandages and wrappings, and made the bandage stick to it. *shudders* I won't go into that. I have a large abrasion several inches long down the side of my leg, because the wheel of the gocart kinda bent my leg under. I still don't understand how nothing was broken!!! But I'm thankful. =D

My abrasions don't look too good, not trying to scare Eldarwen. But in truth, it doesn't look very good at all. I'm just really hoping I don't have to go in to the doctor. Every time I do, it always ends up as a bad experience. I keep using peroxide, so it had better work for all that pain!

It's funny, every time I get an injury (which is quite often), I seem to hurt that area more than usual. Example: since I have hurt my foot/ankle/leg, I have: slammed it in the door, stepped on it, dropped a potatoe on it, and kicked a bowling ball. (lol, that last one sounded funny) =D I don't think my foot is ever gonna heal!!!! *sob* jk Prayers appreciated.

On a brighter note, tomorrow, we're going to go see the play, Beauty and the Beast. I've heard that it's really good!  =D I can't wait!

We're leaving for Alaska on Friday morning. AND WE GET TO FLY!!!! I LOVE flying!!!!! =D So, that's all the info I have for now. Next time, I will not post about my stupid foot. =D
