A Hobbits Tale.

This book was soooo good! All my friends who had to read it said that it was so boring, but they said the same thing about Silas Marner, which is a book I liked. So my Dad convinced me to read The Hobbit, which wasn't very hard, since I read very fast( I finished this book in a day and a half), I am always looking for something to read. I read it three times in one week, I liked it so much. Now I'm reading The Fellowship of the Ring. So far, it's very good. I got it on Sunday; it's taking me a little longer because we had company that afternoon, and today, I had to finish watching The Two Towers. The characters in the book are a little different than in the movie. For instance, Aragorn was a strange looking guy, not handsome at all. In fact, just the opposite. And Frodo was in his fifties when he started his journey. And Legolas hasn't come in yet.*pout* I'm almost afraid of what they have to say about him. Anyway, I highly recommend this book.

I love the LotR books!:) I still haven't read The Hobbit yet though.:/ But I intend to before the movie comes out.:)

I don't think the characters were too different from the movie(with the exception of Merry & Pippin of course, but let's give them a break on that one, I mean, they had to have some comic relief somewhere:). But to the best of my knowledge Peter Jackson tried his best to stay true to the books. Even to the extent of making sure they kept in the Christianity.

I haven't read The Hobbit. :/ I really want to, but I just haven't gotten around to it. When I first became an LOTR fan I didn't realize The Hobbit was part of Tolkien's LOTR series. lol =D So I started with FOTR and then TTT. I need to read ROTK and then I'll probably go back and read the Hobbit. :)

I am still reading FOTR. Even though I saw the movie, it's still very suspensful. It's very frustrating to me that I don't have enough time to read it. I need to ride my horse every day, and when I get back from my ride, we have to go into town. How frustrating. But you definitely read the Hobbit.

I love this book! We read it at school and I was the only one who really liked it! What is a matter with people these days?
