Fourth of July.

As you all can tell by my background, my header, my playlist and my pony, I love Fourth of July. It is my absolute favoritest holiday of the year. I'm a very patriotic person for one thing; I love my country. So, that is why I might be changing my blog daily. =) Just wanted to let ya know. =D

Oh Happy Day!

Today is gonna be so much fun! =D First, we're going ice skating with some friends of ours, then afterwards, we're going to the friends' house! =D It's gonna be GREAT! So excited. *squeals* Christy and I are gearing up for a HUGE fight! We're bringing bags and bags of WATER BALLOONS! =D And since the friends have tons of balloons, this should be interesting! I'm definitely bringing extra clothes! =D They have some neighbors who are nice, and they might join the fight! =D So, anyway, just wanted to share some happiness. Oh, also, I'm going to be trying a new look tonight. Makeup-wise. This will be my first time to ever wear makeup, so I'm a little excited. I would post pictures, but it isn't going to look the greatest since I still have a bit of rash on my face. Dad wants me to go all-out and wear everything I can find, but I'm thinking some foundation and a little eyeliner, and Dad will probably want me to wear some eye-shadow. =P He just found out yesterday that I do not wear makeup. Duh! lol No, I love and respect him, but he IS a guy. Enough said. =D

I'm Hooked.

I have poison ivy, as you all know. Last night, for church, Mom put some makeup on to cover it up. And now I'm hooked! I just realized that foundation can cover up my small scattering of freckles! =O =O *sings* Oh happy day! So now, I must get some more makeup! It's so exciting! =D But, I still have poison ivy. But at least it isn't that noticeable now.

 And the other thing is: Christy is having a softball tournament tonight. *squeals* This should be exciting! Okay, as I understand it, there are three teams in a "division". In Christy's division, there is a black team, a green team, and a red and blue team, who I'm going to call the red team. Christy's on the red team. These teams probably have names, but no one knows them, so we just call them by the color of their uniforms. The red team has defeated the green team everytime they have played, but the black team is undefeated by both. =O They are REALLY good! But we a-l-m-o-s-t  beat them Monday night, but the umpire(who is really cute) (wow I'm feeling girly) called the game off early. In fact, one time, he made such a rotten call that I jumped up and started yelling at him! So embarrassing. So, we most likely will beat the green team tonight, and if we do, we'll play the black team. Just to clarify, when I say "we" I don't mean that I am playing, just Christy. =) So, pray that we'll beat the black team! GO TEAM!

Announcement!

I got a cbox! Finally! And it's unlike any cbox that I've ever seen! If you want to know what I mean, just come and look. And please leave a chat! I so love to chat on cboxes, especially this one, since it is my own. A bit of bad news is that I have poison ivy all over my face. =( Not fun!!!!! Especially since church is tonight. So, please pray for the rash to go away. It always gets on my face, nowhere else on my body, which makes it doubly frustrating! And I haven't even been around poison ivy or anything else! So it's probably an allergic reaction to something, it happens two or three times a year. =( But, I call it poison ivy because I can't think of a better name, and that best describes the effects, a big red rash on my face! =( But anyway, USE THE CBOX!!!! =D (And let me know if there are any problems with it)

My Favorite Book!

So, I was on Eldarwen's blog, and the post about the books that she read was very interesting, so I decided to post about my favoritest book! Every Storm by Lori Wick.

 It's a romance, the best I've ever read! I read it again last night, and it's one of those books that you can't help squealing about, if you know what I mean. =D I'm not going to spoil it for you, but if you're looking for a book to read, I would definitely recommend this! Seriously, if you're at all romantic, look into this book. =D

Softball and a Date.

Christy's team won their softball game tonight!!!!! =D It was pretty cool. (They're not the best) =P And after that, Dad took us four girls to Chick-fil-a for a "date". Sorry about misleading you with the title, it was not a "real" date. Sorry to disappoint you. =P It was a lot of fun though! (The date, not misleading you) lol While Christy and Sarah and Emily were in the playroom, Dad and I had a good talk while we ate ice cream. And I'm not going to tell you what it was about, so don't even think about it! =D Anyway, it was a really awesome evening! =)

Just Wanted to Say...

A couple of posts ago, I mentioned that I got a new Wii game called Monster Hunter Tri. Basically, it's a storyline about hunting creatures. The animation is excellent, and the monsters are really intimidating! It's a wonderful game, though the women aren't very decently dressed. Actually, the guys aren't either, which is TOTALLY unnecessary. =/ But, I love appropiately violent movies and games. And by appropriate, I mean not unnecessarily gory or disgusting, but I do really like science fiction like Lord of Rings, Star Wars, Spiderman, Eragon, and things like that. But my Mom, as some of you know, she hates that stuff. It grosses her out and is very boring to her, which sometimes causes friction between us. =) I'm a total Daddy's girl, and Christy and Mom have a lot in common. Dad and I are so similar, it's almost scary. When we get a new scary movie, then Dad and I stay up and watch it while Mom and Christy go to bed. =)

 But, when I got this game, Mom came down to the basement to watch me play it for a few minutes. She asked a few questions, grimaced at the right moments, and then left. But that really made my day. That my Mom would be willing to watch something that she hates (she didn't want me to get this game) just to make me feel good. She never reads my blog, so there's no chance of her reading this, otherwise, I wouldn't be posting this! =D Anyway, I just felt like sharing that. =)

Wii Game!

I got an awesome new Wii game that I've wanted for awhile!!!! It's called Monster Hunter Tri 3, or something like that. Anyway, I'm really happy, and I wanted to tell you! =D I haven't done much of it yet, but so far, it's really cool! =D

Softball and a Movie!

I have probably neglected to mention that Christy now plays softball. Well, she does. And she really likes it! =D She has a great set of teammates who are really fun. But, they aren't the best team ever. =/ Which is okay of course, since they have fun. But some of the girls like to goof off and some don't care. That really drives me nuts! Okay, just wanted to throw that in there. That isn't what this whole post is about, so don't leave yet! =)

Last night, I watched Alice in Wonderland.

I really liked this movie! I could definitely tell that Tim Burton directed it. His style, his music, everything gives it away! The music escpecially reminded me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Except, I can't STAND that movie! The special effects were all right, not that great. Like, when she was falling down the rabbit hole, it looked very fake. Dad described the style as "nightmarish", but it bugged me. I won't tell about the whole movie, because I don't want to spoil it for you. While Tim Burton is a talented director, he has a dark side. There were some unnecessary gruesome parts that I won't tell about so as not to spoil the movie. It was strange. Have I stressed that enough? =D But I still really liked it! At the beginning, the girl who played Alice didn't seem to fit the part, but as the movie went on, I liked her better and better. Johnny Depp was a complete freak! But that's nothing unusual, so I won't dwell on it. All in all, I would recommend this movie. There was no swearing or immodesty, although when she was growing huge, her dress got a bit short. (That's Dad's comment) =) If you don't like fantasy, you probably won't like this movie. But, you never know! =D
